Broussonetia Papyrifera Extract Process

1. Preparation of raw materials

The first is to prepare the raw material, the bark of the tree, and the fruit as the raw material. The bark needs to be initially screened and soaked for the subsequent extraction process. The fruit needs to be chopped and water heated to 30-50°C to soak the leaves for 1-2 hours.

2. Extraction process

In the extraction process, the twigs and leaves need to be crushed after drying and then added to the ethanol solution after soaking, and filtration, to obtain the filtrate. After the filtrate is concentrated, it needs to be dried to obtain the extract of Tectona grandis.

3. Concentration and drying

The filtrate needs to be concentrated, which can be achieved by vacuum concentration. The concentrated liquid needs to be dried, and the commonly used drying method is freeze drying. In addition, the filtrate is concentrated under reduced pressure at 52-55℃ and freeze-dried to obtain paper mulberry extract.

4. Post-processing

The dried Broussonetia papyrifera extract powder needs to be post-processed, including screening, packaging and other steps. It needs to be screened, impurities removed, and packaged, usually in 25 kg/cardboard barrels or aluminum foil bags.
